Ever had trouble putting together a Modulift spreader beam? Modulift UK Ltd. has posted a video on its website that provides a step-by-step guide on how to assemble the beam correctly, says a news release from the manufacturer.
In the video, titled “Modulift Assembly Guide,” senior design engineer Anthony Culshaw provides hints and tips during a full walk-through presentation, the news release said.
That includes pointing out the safety precautions in the instructions that come with every Modulift spreader beam, as well as valuable advice on which tools to use in the assembly.
“Having a visual explanation with this new video is a great way to link what is recommended on all our product literature,” Modulift marketing manager Wendy Armstrong said in the news release. “Hopefully it will provide an easier, fuller picture on how to assemble our spreader beams.”
The video also has practical information on including shackles and slings, as well as on using a crane for assembling larger beams, “ultimately showing how to build safely and effectively,” the release said.
