W.F. Welding & Overhead Cranes rebrands

October 11, 2017  By Keith Norbury

W.F. Welding & Overhead Cranes has rebranded and is now known as WF Steel & Crane. The Edmonton-based company has launched a new logo and website as part of its rebranding. The company stated that the new name would better reflect WF’s expanded service offerings.

“Our updated name and look is representative of our company,” stated Ian Olthuis, managing director for WF Steel & Crane. “WF has proudly served Western Canadian industry for over 30 years, and as our company further diversifies our offerings into crane and steel fabrication, it was the right time to update our presentation, while retaining the expertise our clients rely on.”

The company has also expanded its operations in the Edmonton area, recently opening an additional Crane Manufacturing and Structural Steel Processing and Fabricating Facility in Nisku, Alta. The company stated that the plant, which is more than 48,000-sq.-ft., has further increased the company’s capacity.

WF Steel & Crane is Canadian-owned and operated company, founded in 1987. With three plants in Nisku, it specializes in crane construction and structural steel fabrication.
